Account Executive, United States — Founding Commercial Team
A note from our CEO
I'll be direct, because the right person will appreciate it.
Until now I have sold Evolinq myself — every customer we have, I closed. It worked, but it does not scale, and the United States is where our market is. This is the handover.
You will not be joining a sales team, because there isn't one. No SDR feeding you meetings, no US marketing, no shelf of American case studies. What there is: a product built for fast time-to-value, customers who renew, and a founder who will join any call you need.
If you have spent your career waiting for pipeline to arrive, this will be miserable. If you have spent it creating pipeline and wishing someone would get out of your way, read on.
The role
Evolinq is hiring its first dedicated seller in the United States. You will sell to procurement and operations leaders at discrete manufacturers, source your own pipeline, and run the full cycle from cold touch to signature. You are selling a product with zero supplier friction and a fast proof-of-concept — not an eighteen-month rollout. Evolinq deploys AI agents that act as digital buyers: they chase confirmations, read suppliers' free-text replies, and flag delivery risk before lines stop. Suppliers change nothing. On the buyer side, our customers manage thousands of PO lines across hundreds of suppliers through manual chaos and an ERP that never reflects reality. You step in and solve that pain fast. The role is full-time with 30–40% travel.
What you'll do
Create your own pipeline
Cold outreach, referrals, trade-show floors, and warm introductions from the ERP resellers already inside our accounts.
Run discovery that gets to the real number
Nobody is searching for us. You have to make the cost of manual expediting concrete.
Multi-thread
Win the procurement manager who will use it daily, and the executive who signs. Two different conversations.
Land pilots and convert them
Success criteria agreed in writing before they start. Conversion is your number, not the landing.
Show up
Industry events like IMTS, Manifest Vegas, and ProMat — and plants, in person.
Write the playbook
You are first, so what you learn becomes the company's method.
Must-haves
- You have built your own pipeline — not “worked closely with my SDR” — and you know what percentage of last year's number you sourced yourself.
- You have sold to manufacturers. Lead times, expedites, on-time delivery, supplier scorecards — no interpreter needed. Plus at least one of SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Infor or IFS from inside a deal.
- You have carried a real number and hit it, and can state your quota and attainment for the last three years without checking.
- You balance volume with enterprise impact — comfortable keeping 15+ active mid-market cycles alive while simultaneously working 2 to 3 transformational enterprise accounts.
- You have worked somewhere small, and you know the collateral does not exist yet because you have made it before.
Nice-to-haves
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive, aerospace and defense, electronics manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
- A procurement or supply chain vendor in your past — Coupa, Ariba, Jaggaer, GEP, Ivalua, Zip, Keelvar, Resilinc, Everstream.
- Selling through an ERP reseller or systems-integrator channel.
- You were once a buyer, planner or expediter. If so, write today — you have lived this problem.
Why join us?
Evolinq is revenue-positive, already managing over $10 billion in spend for Fortune 500 customers, and moving into its next stage of growth. You are joining at the inflection point — ahead of the scale-up, not after it — with real equity, an open territory, and the chance to shape how the US go-to-market gets built. The CEO will be in your deals from day one, and your first year comes with a ramped quota and a draw through the first two quarters, so you can focus on building pipeline instead of your paycheck.
How to apply
Email careers@evolinq.io with your CV, and answer two questions, briefly:
- Three US manufacturers you would target, and one sentence each on why.
- What percentage of your pipeline did you source yourself last year, and how do you know?
The second answer is the one we care about most.
